You can still buy it at GOG. com.

You do however need to download like 9 gigabyte of mod files to make it look like in the screens and movies here.

This is a stand alone mod that pretty much is a game on it's own since you can install it as a stand alone game instead of a Freespace 2 mod with the Mod installer.

This one is especially for MM

And this is going to be the game intro movie

Personally I cannot wait to play this game since I have always been a huuuge WC fan.

I downloaded and installed the Prologue ... motivated by the video that showed a cockpit. Imagine my disappointment when the cockpit didn't show up in the game. I was so upset I continued to shoot the heck out of that "friendly" ship in the first mission even after being told to cease fire.

It's not nice to fool Mother Nature. Or robots.

Yes, they started a cockpit with the WC Saga but found that they could not build one the way they wanted it to work, so they dropped it........sadly.

There are however a few guys working on cockpits for the SCP and maybe they will add it to the game at some point.
Since Freespace 2 never was designed to have a working cockpit it takes a lot of work to build them into the code, but progress has been made.
