My first city project to help me figure out orientation, scale, poly + texture limitations in EL. Not a major city obviously but wasn't intended to be, bits of Sketchup, Metaesq, PSP6.
Looks like Trantor after the fall of the Empire. I wonder if we'll ever be able to use multiple designs for cities ... generic for one place and mods for another.

If Vice would put the .X of the built in city in the customization pack it could be done. Just set that one to City.x and the customs to City"CityName".x

I originally had a sort of inset rectangle on the fields with the outer having rounded edges and a sort of ditch like texture on it. Also had a road with just tractor tread on the ground.
Then I found out I was over the poly cap, select, delete, select delete, ok there we go no crash..Next time less giant round objects and more use if lights.x for actual structural objects.
Have been able to specify city mesh per location for a while now.
I'm getting way behind on my Foundation mod ... read this somewhere and never bothered to add it to my FAQ. Ergo, have yet to test it and, as usual, ask Vice for more explicit instructions.
Think I need to quit doing MP for a few months to catch up.
Woo! Some more popping up, awesome. I'll probably finish my second one over the Xmas break if I survive. I hope more of us toss one in, that way the universe will be very different from place to place....
