The Midnight frame is the latest from Strange Industries, for the coldest of souls who want to be feared rather than loved. Combining both the sharp angles and graceful curves of the sharpest swords, all who look upon her will tremble.
Thanks. Yes, I eventually figured out how to line up the textures. The next step is to develop custom textures for each ship. I have a couple for the "stealth" frames, but these could work effectively without any positioning, since they're just starfield patterns. It would be cool if you could make the stars "glow" with ambient light, so that they are visible when in shadow, as well as to make the surfaces non-reflective. Then it would be almost totally invisible unless it moves.
So, now I have to decide now to paint some of these frames. I've got some ideas right now, but they need to be developed and tested out. I don't have any more immediate ideas for frames: I have a set that covers the entire military ship range, so I'll leave it at that for now (unless a new idea pops up suddenly).
This ship actually cannot be viewed properly from just one angle. There are some interesting features that you only get if you see it in 3d.
Too late my friend. Even as I type this, Clan BA operatives are in the process of obtaining the plans and technical specs of Strange Industries impresive craft.
Awesome. Excellent design, and your texturing skills make me jealous.

The download link should be in the first post. It is from Filefront.
If you don't already have a \\ships folder in your EL install directory, you can create one. Then, drop the frame.x file into the folder and rename it according to the instructions included with the frame.
Alpha, Thanks. Once I figured out how to do the UV mapping, it wasn't that big of a chore.
Our operatives did a splendid job in "obtaining the technical readouts of this battle station" (Where have I heard that before?)
Anyway we have test flown our new machines and they operate perfectly in a contract situation - did a 70 red, 7 Waypoint, 1.04 million credits last night with no problems.
