Burnout

I have found out that you can not only jump into a planet's atmosphere and survive, but you can also jump out, if you're on a landing pad.

I have also found out that the people who own the landing pad get angry when you do this because, apparently, you set the entire city on fire when you make this kind of jump.

Who knew?

Here is a picture to prove it. This is a real screen capture with no fancy processing whatsoever.

I apologize to the people of Lost Rucker for their loss. I swear it was an accident.

I believe that the jump drive causes a sprt of standing wave of flame, similar to the vortex of water flowing out of a bathtub, but forming a ring due to the residual 'jump wake'

Hey.............., I had some long lost family from the place "I can't remember" waiting to be picked up from that landing platform of Lost Rucker ! Now they are lost for good. Darn it..............! LOL

Hmm, yes, I see in the film footage that trademarked "city on fire" display. I wonder if this is unique to any version of the software.

Maarschalk, you're in luck: before I left the station, I got some passengers who wanted to go to "I can't remember." I needed the cash.

One bug I noticed about doing this is that if you are on a planet during the rains, when you jump out, you hear rain wherever you go.

I didn't report it because people should not be encouraged to try stupid stunts like this.
