API?
I want to write an app that records ship location, docking station, mats, prices, etc. Does anyone know a way to hook in to that? I'll be writing the program in C# or Java, depending on how you get the info. Is it a direct memory location read? Text file somewhere thats written live? DLL API? Any point in the right direction would be awesome.

Hi and welcome.
If you create a file "savedatasettings.txt" in your main game folder and set the value in it to 2000
you set update to 2sec. (Default C:\\sw3dg\\EvochronMercenary\\)
Also create a file "savedata.txt" in the same game forlder.
This file will be updated every 2 seconds in this scenario.
Try this and just check what info you'll get.
This feature is used for the EvoMetric program that is a map/GPS for the Game.
