Inspired by Final Frontier i decided to make my own radio chatter sound file. I actually took the radio chatter files from X-Plane 9, pieced them all together and put short silences in between each. I DID NOT include the chatter files that specifically referred to either planes or runways or stuff of the sort. Most of the chatter is control tower type chatter. Lots of numbers, headings, speed, etc. I DID forget one file that does mention a runway but you really have to be listening for it to even hear it. The file lasts nearly 4 minutes before it loops.
Here's where to get it:

(i even took FinalFrontier's reccomendation for file hosting)

I did test it. The radio chatts are cool and fully understandable.
What I not like is, that they talk non-stop, it would better if there would be longer breaks between the radio chatts.
Second thing is, that you pack the files in two directorys, it should be only a directory with the name /sounds and there your radio chatt file.
But good work!

Yeah after trying it myself. I like it except that well, at 4 minutes its still gets repetitive pretty fast. On the other hand, if you have a really long one, you'll probably never get to hear more than the first ten mins at most so then it still remains repetitive. I guess in the end there is no perfect radio chatter mod, in the end, after several hours of play, no matter what the radio chatter file, you'll probably want to turn it off. :-p
I might make one with longer pauses though.
